Why YOU must vote in June 14, 2022 Republican Primary

The SC Republican Primary will be held on:

Tuesday, June 14th, 2022.

Why do YOU need to vote in this primary and encourage all your Pickens County neighbors, friends, family members, church members to do so as well?

The answer is pretty simple.

REPUBLICAN PRIMARY VOTING MATTERS

This is our only opportunity to get rid of RINOs!
                                                    (Republicans In Name Only)

Pickens County is known as the most conservative county in the whole state of SC. But yet we have too many RINOs representing us.

And the reason we have so many RINOs elected is because our Republican Primaries are open to Democrats to cross over and vote in our elections.

If you are a football fan...think of it this way, Democrats are being allowed to help choose our quarterback! It is legal for them to cross over and vote in our primary because our State of SC is an open primary state.

Thus, it becomes IMPERATVE for conservatives to VOTE in the Primary to cancel out their votes!

All one has to do is study District 5 RINO Rep. Neal Collins' social media pages, and look at comments made on his posts, then click on the person who agrees with him, or "likes" his Democrat aligned positions and you will see he has a huge Democrat fan base who undoubtedly crossover in the Republican Primary to vote for him as there is NO DEMOCRAT ever challenging him.

Folks, we cannot get rid of RINOs like Collins if we don't get out there and VOTE and encourage all our like-minded conservatives to vote in the Republican Primary on Tuesday, June 14th, 2022. That is a fact!

The Republican Primary in Pickens SC is the MAIN vote, because whoever wins the primary is pretty much assured the win of their seat. Democrats haven't won a seat in Pickens County in quite some time now. Democrats have learned they can crossover and vote in our Republican Primary and vote for the most left leaning Republican who will reach across the aisle and make deals and compromise on the Republican Party Platform. Folks, this a loss to true conservatism. We cannot allow the Democrats to swing the vote.

We must turn out in record numbers to counter the Democrats voting in our Republican Primary for RINOs.

So, in order for us to get TRUE CONSERVTIVES elected to be representatives on our county council, and in our Columbia SC legislation positions:

WE MUST GET OUT AND VOTE IN THIS JUNE 14th PRIMARY.

It is every conservative freedom loving Pickens County citizen's civic duty to VOTE in this JUNE 14th Republican Primary, so we don't end up getting a RINO representing us on these important elected positions.

We want the most conservative, God fearing, Constitution loving, freedom loving candidate to be our winner.

PLEASE DO NOT THINK YOU CAN JUST VOTE IN NOVEMBER!

Don't allow the Democrats to outnumber us at the election polls on June 14th and vote in RINO's!

It's up to YOU to make sure this doesn't happen.

GO VOTE for the most conservative candidate on June 14th, 2022 and bring your like-minded Pickens County friends, neighbors, family, and church members with you!

If you know anyone who is not registered to vote in the Primary, they must do so by the deadline of Friday, May 13, 2022, in person by 5 PM or online by 11:59 PM Sunday, May 13, 2022, and by mail they must be postmarked by Monday, May 16th, 2022.

You can go to www.scvotes.gov/ to submit your online registration to  or you can go by the Pickens County Elections Office Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM till 5:00 PM located at 222 McDaniel Ave B9, Pickens, SC 29671 and register to VOTE.

EVERY CONSERVATIVE NEEDS TO STEP UP AND VOTE ON:
Tuesday, June 14th

Letter To the Editor Former Pickens County Elections Board Member Not Reappointed

Lillian's Description of Herself on Social Media

Dear Editor,

Lillian Boatwright was not reappointed by 4 of the 6 state legislators on the Pickens election board; she took the opportunity to whine profusely on social media and the newspaper.

Lillian lost this position because her social media posts describe her perfectly: She is in favor of destruction of society – either through the anarchistic and anti-human BLM organization, woke ideologies of rampant racism, the breathtaking position that people should not think for themselves, or erasing history by tearing down statues.

She has promoted the lie that absentee voting is the same as vote by mail.  Her posts are frequently filled with sickening wokeness and never retracted: whether she is promoting the mask policy, which has been well known since it was introduced to be almost completely ineffective, or, for the BLM.

She may have been part of the roughly 75% of the people which poles show rooted for this organization as of July 2021.  People were duped without ever checking the BLM website which said they were trying to eliminate the nuclear family – the fundamental cornerstone to society on the planet.  Within 5 months after witnessing the anarchy and destruction that BLM produced, it fell out of favor to less than 10%.

According to woke individuals, believing they are gods and in charge of truth, I am a hater, a bigot, deplorable, Islamophobic, homophobic, neanderthal, and transphobic.  While none of this has anything to do with reality, those pushing these divisive labels are in fact minions of evil – they are not “social justice warriors”, or any other contrived name.

America is not rife with racism – as all data shows.  Media can find a racist and run that up the flagpole, or a bigot, or a hater or a killer or a thief – but these headlines do not define America.  America’s problems will end only when we get back to its roots - based in God - and recognize that absolute truth exists, and it comes only from God.

I have and will continue to pray for Lillian – and others – that the Holy Spirit might infect them to change their ways.

While the facts and truth of this letter to the editor may seem harsh, they are far less harsh that the derisive, condescending, prideful, and discriminatory words in print and social media by Lillian.

Should she be on a non-partisan elections board?  No.  Period.

Summary of March 17, 2022 COTU meeting

If you did not get to attend this past Thursday's COTU meeting, here is a summary of what you missed out on below:

The meeting was well attended with over 30 concerned citizens eager to be involved in keeping our county the MOST CONSERVATIVE county in SC.

Committee reports were given on local issues that our County Council are facing as well as School Board, Planning Commission and elections board. We also discussed appointed board seats that need to be filled and the fact the deadline for filing to run for a position on the county council or school board will be closed on March 30 at noon. Please consider running as we do need to have choices if we are to get rid of those RINOs that are incumbents and not following the GOP platform. No one should be getting a free pass to go uncontested in these races.

  Clay Hamlett

The highlight of the meeting was our guest speaker, candidate for District 5 SC House, Clay Hamlett. He is challenging present RINO Rep. Neal Collins in the upcoming Republican Primary to help make sure that Conservative Republican Citizens are better represented in Columbia, SC.

Let me begin by stating COTU cannot endorse a candidate. We can, however, allow candidates to speak to our members, (we have over 350 on our email list) so the candidate can educate our members on their political stances and explain why they think our members should vote for them.

Clay was impressive. He may be young and getting ready to turn 21years old, but he made it clear his goals are in line with conservatism.  He was well spoken, sharp, and didn't skip a beat during the question and answering section after he explained his 5 essential core goals once elected. The 5 goals he spoke on were:

1. Pro-life

2. Adhering to the SC State Constitution and US Constitution

3. Education reform

4. Greater Accountability from our Legislators

5. More Efficient Spending of our tax dollars

The only negative comment we have ever heard about Clay is that he is young. Well folks, let's don't judge a book by its cover! Young people matter! And just because you are young doesn't mean you don't have core Christian Conservative ideology. We encourage you to call him and check him out as soon as possible. You vet him personally with your questions. We already know what Rep. Neal Collins stands for, and he does not represent COTU core goals.

If anyone else throws their hat in the ring to run against Neal Collins, we promise to invite that candidate to our meeting to explain why they would be the best candidate to replace Neal.
