I believe we live in a republic, with founding documents stating so. However, if we go with the notion we live in a democracy, a claim of “anonymity” is a divergent principle to the core belief. Democracy demands figure heads, movement leaders, & people by name to stand behind.
At many points over the past few years ... Junius Smith, Carol Smith, Johnnelle Raines, Alex Saitta, Rusty Smith and many, many others have stood up by name to redress a lack of a God fearing school board prayer policy, eminent domain, taxation, and right to life issues.
Anonymity is cowardice. There is power in claiming your words and ONLY those that come forward should be heard or respected in matters serious to all citizens that do not affect national security.
