Want to know how to have influence over elections and laws passed in South Carolina?
Want a way to oust corrupt politicians?
Want to direct our county, state, and federal politicians?
There's a little known secret … precinct reorganization, and delegate representation.
Did you know the electoral college, part of precinct and delegate representation decided the 2000 Presidential election and NOT the popular vote? Delegate representation is that powerful! And guess what? Pickens County is woefully unrepresented … why … because usually … NO ONE shows up and most counties don't make a big deal out of it.
Why don't most counties make a big deal out of precinct and delegate representation? Because the two leading parties KNOW how much power the position holds and they'd rather not publicize it!
Precinct Reorganization:
• Occurs every two years
• For Pickens County
• Thursday, March 21, 2013 @ 7PM / Rosewood Center in Liberty ( next to Ingles)
• YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT blue card voter registration to participate! NO EXCEPTIONS!
• You may need $10 per person to pay for your County delegation meeting if elected.
All elected will move on to County Delegation meeting on April 4, 2013 and then the State Convention in Columbia on May 4, 2013
You must be willing to travel on these two dates above and be willing to travel during elections.
Each precincts important positions are Executive Committee Person and President. You do not have to have two people but it would be best if you DID have two people willing to participate.
If you show up - it is very likely you will be elected as your voting precinct's delegate representative!
There are 62 precincts in Pickens County.
Last Precinct Reorganization in 2011 - only 22 people showed up. Most areas were left unrepresented.
