Please attend the next Pickens County Council Meeting

Conservatives Of The Upstate & Pickens County Taxpayers Association members,
The YMCA is actively supporting the Pickens Doodle Rails to Trails conversion. COTU is NOT in support of taxpayer funds being used for this "want." The taxpayers are already in debt over $400 million in Pickens County. The property owners along the proposed corridor's "privacy" will be violated on a daily basis.
The YMCA has posted the following  on facebook ...
"We need supporters of the Doodle Trail to be willing to attend the upcoming county council meeting and speak just a few words of support. There will be a few county residents speaking against the trail and we need to let council know this is a good thing for our county! No need to signup before hand, just show up."
(NOTICE THEY SAID A "FEW" county residents will be speaking against the trail....I am hoping we will prove them wrong!!!!!!!! I urge you to show up Monday August 20, 2012 at the Administration Building located at 222 McDaniel Avenue in Pickens, to show the YMCA there are more than just a "few" people who oppose the use of taxpayer funds for such an expensive "want".
I cannot stress this enough!
Please come and bring a friend.
Sign up to speak!
Let the council know!
